Beside You in Your Recovery

Survivor & Family Support

A sudden diagnosis changes everything, not just for the individual, but for the entire family. Amy's personal journey of rebuilding her life after a ruptured brain aneurysm is the heart of this unique offering.

We provide a space of deep understanding and non-clinical support for fellow brain aneurysm survivors and their loved ones, helping you navigate the messy, beautiful work of recovery and rediscovery.

How We Support Survivors & Families:

One-on-One Survivor Mentoring:

For the survivor, this is a space to connect with someone who has walked a similar path. We work through the unique challenges of recovery, including identity shifts and cognitive changes, navigating the complex emotional and practical challenges of recovery, and how to find purpose and agency in your new story.

Family & Caregiver Support:

The journey of a caregiver is its own unique challenge. We help family members and loved ones understand ways they can support both the survivor and themselves, as well as provide tips on communicating with medical teams, finding resources, and building a sustainable support system for the long-term journey of healing and growth.

You Are Not Alone!
This journey can feel isolating, but it doesn't have to be. If you or a loved one is a brain aneurysm survivor, please reach out. This is a space to be seen, heard, and understood.

An Important Note On Our Services

The survivor mentoring and family support services offered by GroveWorks are based on Amy Grove's personal lived experience as a brain aneurysm survivor.  This is a non-clinical, peer-to-peer support service intended to provide hope, understanding, and practical guidance.  It is not medical advice, therapy, or a substitute for treatment from your neurological or mental health care team.  All decisions regarding your health, recovery, and treatment should be made in consultation with your qualified medical professionals.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health crisis, please contact your doctor, a licensed therapist, or call 911 immediately.
